The main storage tank was delivered in late December, 2006, right on the scheduled 15 week lead time given by the manufacturer. Wouldn't you know, it arrived on a Thursday and we had a significant rain that weekend before I could get the plumbing finished! We received just under six inches of rain in early 2007, after I finished the house side of the collection system and collected over 5000 gallons of water from just the house roof (1320 square feet). Some water was lost due to the design problem with the leaf diverters.
The shop gutters, collection pipes, and surge tank were installed in early February, 2007 but we have had no rain since to test that part of the installation.
